A Busy Time in the E. Household

Things have been busy in the E. household of late, and they're about to get a bit on the crazy side. September is a packed month.

If you saw yesterday's post, you know I'm getting started making a few Christmas gifts. I'm not entirely sure how much I will do, maybe just a couple hat and scarf sets for the girls, but I'm enjoying it.

Beyond that, we're planning to break ground on a greenhouse over the weekend if our deal on scrap lumber comes through and the weather holds. We're planning one with raised beds big enough to hopefully supply us with greens, turnips, beets, carrots, broccoli, onion, and peas and other cold hearty crops through the winter. Plus, extra early and extra late tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and our other warm weather crops would be nice. I'll post more as we begin building.

We're also preparing for a multifamily yard sale the last Saturday of the month. So, I'm washing all the girls clothes, sorting out the ones Sneak's outgrown, and pricing them along with toys they've outgrown and the odd item from the rest of the house a bit at a time.

Then there's the usual school year stuff. Hubby's planning lessons, grading, and reading up on his subjects. I'm taking the girls to the library and working on lessons, experiments, and projects with them at home, and working the odd freelance job along with the regular gigs.

So all in all, things are going well for us, despite the round of ear infections or allergies that mimic the symptoms of an ear infection as the case may be for the girls and me.

What's going on with you?
