It's been a busy few weeks.

It's a bit later than I wanted, but today's Right of Succession update is all the better for it. I've made a lot of progress in the past week!

Also, I made mention of a baby blanket in the video. I've decided to stop trying to do complicated things like tapestry work in baby blankets. It takes too long, and there's not really any hope of finishing before the child is a year old.

Here's my latest baby blanket.
So I decided to keep it simple. The blanket is a giant granny rectangle. It took roughly five skeins of yarn, and turned out about 4x5. I wasn't sure about the two different camo yarns at first, but it turned out pretty.

Light newborn hat and booties set in blue and tan camo.
As it turns out, I had enough of the lighter yarn to make a matching hat and booties set. I made the hat using a granny circle pattern to keep it light since my nephew is due at the end of the month.
