We saw the new Star Trek film yesterday. What a joy!
Time travel paradoxes as a whole irk me, but this one was done well. It helps that I can understand their reasoning for wanting to use it. The point was to revitalize the franchise, and there was no way around the die hard fans' desire for sticking to cannon that would allow for attracting new fans. Thus, it almost had to be a time paradox film.
I won't say any more except, it's well worth the price of admission.
