Today I'm participating in The Pintester Movement being put on by none other than Sonja Foust over at Pintester. Basically, a whole bunch of us bloggers decided to get together and test out a bunch of our Pinterest pins.
So, onto my experience.
I saw a relatively simple pin last week or so where you make a teeny book out of a sheet of paper. Considering Boo Bear's desire to be an author and illustrator right now, I thought it'd be a perfect pin to test.
I have to say, the hardest part of this pin test was dealing with the video. I should have stuck to pictures! This was my first time filming video with my little Sanyo, so I had no idea the memory would hold so little that it'd cut out almost immediately after I finished with the first clip. Then I'm a complete noob when it comes to editing video, so trying to get the two separate clips spliced together took an obscenely long time. This would be why all my other videos have been single takes...

|Here's a close up of Sneak's book, which she will NOT be giving away.|
Anyway, the pin worked despite a few of the pages turning out slightly wonky. Like I said, I'm sure it wouldn't have if I'd had an exacto knife, but oh well.
Boo really wants to gift someone with her first solo creation, so I promised I'd do a giveaway. If you'd like a chance to win a My Little Pony story as written by this budding six-year-old author/illustrator, just leave a comment below or on the YouTube video itself. I'll randomly choose a winner sometime Saturday afternoon.
