The holiday season officially kicks off this week, so I thought it was time for an update regarding what's happening at Contented Comfort this holiday season.
If you aren't one for watching videos, or it isn't playing for you. Here's the gist of what I was saying.
My Pre-Thanksgiving sale ended yesterday, but if you missed it, don't worry. The best is yet to come. My annual Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale starts at 11 a.m. Friday, November 19 through 1 p.m. Monday, December 2. Every item in the store will be marked 50% off during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale!
Then, my annual Christmas sale, where every item in the store is marked 30% off its usual price, will run until 1 p.m. Thursday, December 19.
These are the only sales I offer throughout the year. Bulk discounts do not apply during these sales, but they will go back into effect once the Christmas sale ends on December 19. Other discounts and sales throughout the year are held through the use of Etsy coupon codes. Make sure to take a moment to subscribe to the blog here or any of my other social media accounts lined to the right of the page.
Also, when it comes to your shopping this holiday season, I encourage you to think local. Think handmade. Support small businesses, families, and artists in your area. There are so many wonderful folks out there doing and making amazing things. If you stick to just the big box stores, you may spend bottom dollar, but you also miss out on a lot of local interest and unique items.
And times are touch all around. There are a lot of folks who were running their handmade businesses as a hobby or for side income who, for whatever reason, found it their only source of income. Back during the summer, the same happened to us here in the E household for a few months, but there are lots of folks out there who haven't been as lucky.
You never know when your purchases might bring hope and a bright holiday to a small business owner or artist and their family.
